England’s team has been on the tour of Pakistan for a test series after so long and that’s why it’s a historic moment for the Pakistan cricket board as well. They will play 3 test matches during this series which are part of the World Test Championship.
The first test match was started on 01 December and this match is playing in Rawalpindi stadium. The pitch has been very good for the batsman as it was a dead rubber and batsmen were making runs so easily that everyone batted so well on this pitch.

England team decided to bat first in this match and with the help of brilliance from their batters they made 657 runs for the loss of their 10 wickets, their 4 batters scored a century in this inning which was amazing batting from all of them.
Their openers Zak Crawley and Benn Duckett made a double-century stand as Crawley scored 122 runs in 111 balls while Duckett scored 107 runs in 110 balls, their opening stand was stunning as he provided a great base and confidence to the other batters of the team.
After this Harry Brook and Ollie Pope also took the toll on the bowlers and Harry Brook smashed the bowlers and scored 153 runs in just 116 balls while Pope made 108 runs which was an anchoring knock from him.

It was a very off performance from all the bowlers but Zahid Mahmood was the highest wicket-taker for Pakistan as he took 4 wickets but in that case, he spend 235 runs. Naseem Shah took 3 wickets while Mohammad Ali and Harish Rauf took 2 & 1 wickets respectively.
