After losing the third match to Australia, Rohit Sharma said during the post-match ceremony that he was happy with his batting.
Hitman said, “I am very happy with the way I am playing. We have played really well in the last 7-8 ODIs. We were challenged in different conditions and from different teams. I think we’ve responded to that challenge very well. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the result we wanted today.”

The Indian captain said, “I am very happy with Bumrah’s bowling. How he feels mentally and physically is important to us and it feels good to us. When we talk about the team we are very clear about what we want. We are not confused, we know where we are going as a team. It’s a team sport and we want everyone to come in and play their part. That’s how we win championships.”
Talking about the third match, after winning the toss and batting first, the Australian team scored 352 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. In reply, Team India could score only 286 runs in 49.4 with the help of half-centuries from Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma and lost the match by 66 runs.
