Jos Buttler has been in great form during IPL 2022. He looked in finesse in Qualifier 1 and 2, scoring 89 and 106 not out respectively. That match-winning century against RCB was also his fourth century this season. After playing a big knock against RCB, Butler was hoping to repeat the same in the final against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Even though Jos Buttler read the pitch well and batted intelligently there initially, he could not stay at the crease for very long and was dismissed for 39 runs in 35 balls. With the dismissal of Butler, Rajasthan’s scoring rate declined. Meanwhile, on his way back to the dugout, Jos Buttler looked furious.
When Butler was leaving the field, anger was visible on his face. In anger, he was seen throwing the helmet in the dugout, as well as taking off the gloves and throwing it in the air. Seeing this video of Buttler has become very viral on social media.
On the other hand, if we talk about this match, after winning the toss, Rajasthan decided to bat first and their team could score only 130 runs in 20 overs. Jos Buttler scored the most runs in batting for Rajasthan. In the second innings, Gujarat chased down the total easily and became the Champion of IPL 2022.
