David Warner is going through a rough patch in the recent time where he was not able to perform big and hasn’t scored a century for so long. We have seen him struggling against the bowlers and that’s why he was facing a lot of criticism as well in the recent time.
He has made a very big comeback:
However, after shutting everyone’s mouth he has made a remarkable comeback as he recently scored his first hundred after those long years while today he has scored his 25th test century on the occasion of his 100th test which makes this more special as well.
He went on to score a double hundred as he completed his double hundred in just 254 balls in which he scored 16 fours and 2 sixes. He was facing a lot of heat in this summer but controlled and managed to score big and stand at the crease.
He is getting praise from all over the world as this inning was amazing and he has put in a lot of effort because it was clearly visible that he has cramps and was not able to be at his best but he continued to bat and becomes first Australian to score a double hundred in his 100th test.
He walks off just after his double century:
However, just after completing his century, he walks off the field as he got himself injured after finishing his double hundred while celebrating. The medical team comes out and decided to take him out and it’s probably like he will remain not out on 200 in his 100th test.
