Dinesh Kartik forgot to include MS Dhoni

Dinesh Karthik omitted Team India’s legendary wicketkeeper-batsman and most successful captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) in his favorite all-time India playing XI. Fans were furious at him for keeping MS Dhoni out of the playing XI and started criticizing Karthik fiercely.

‘I made a big mistake’

Accepting his mistake, Dinesh Karthik has also apologized to the fans. Responding to the questions of the users on Cricbuzz, Karthik said,

“Bhai log, a big mistake has been made. Truly, it was a mistake. When the episode came, I realized this. I forgot to choose a wicketkeeper in my playing XI. Rahul Dravid was in the team. Everyone thought that I kept a part-time wicketkeeper, but in reality, I did not keep Rahul Dravid as a keeper. Being a wicketkeeper myself, I forgot to keep a wicketkeeper. This is a big mistake.” Karthik further claimed,

“I truly believe that MS Dhoni is one of the greatest cricketers not only of India but also of all time to play this game. If I make a team again, I will definitely make one change. Dhoni (MS Dhoni) will be at number 7 in my team and will also be the captain of the team.”
