The first match of the 5-match T20 series will be played between India and Sri Lanka from July 27. Team India can leave for Colombo today 22nd July for this series.

Grave broke the silence over the resting players:
After the T20 World Cup 2024, the senior players of Team India have been rested. Virat-Rohit was rested during the tour of Zimbabwe. Who is now back in the ODI series played against Sri Lanka. However, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been rested.
Gambhir clarified on resting the players and said:
“Jasprit Bumrah is a fast bowler so that he can be rested. But if the batsman is fit then he should play as many matches as possible, Rohit and Virat will now only play Test ODIs. Now I want him to play as many matches as possible. ”
