The head of this team selected KL Rahul as captain:

Andy Flower is the head coach of the Lucknow Super Giants in which he coached the team under the captaincy of KL Rahul and they did well as a group as they played brilliantly in the whole tournament and they finished in the third rank of the table. They got eliminated in the eliminator.

He gave a statement that he wants that KL Rahul will be a good captain and he said that “kl Rahul is a fantastic batsman and I love his batting. I first met him when I was coaching England Lions, we were playing against India A in Trivandrum. I have been keeping an eye on Rahul since then”.

He further said “ Right now, I am very busy throughout the year because of franchise cricket. I am really enjoying the challenge of connecting from one team to another. I have to change my coaching style according to the needs of the team. I get to experience the culture of different countries with different teams. ”
