Mohammad Siraj becomes the highest wicket-taker in ODI for India in 2022 as he now has 22 wickets to his name surpassing Yuzvendra Chahal who was having 21 wickets to his name. Siraj achieved this record today against Bangladesh.
He was brilliant and gave India an amazing start by giving early breakthroughs to the Bangladesh side. Today, in his spell of 10 overs he took 2 wickets by spending 73 runs, his early wickets were helpful for India to put pressure on the side.

After this shanto hit a four to Siraj in the next over as well and then he gave a firm look to Siraj which was also a moment to capture. However, Shanto got clean bowled against Umran Malik on his delivery of 151 km/h.

Bangladesh put in a huge total of 271 runs
The Bangladesh team was struggling a lot at the start and they gave away their starting wickets as well which put pressure on the team. They were at 69/6 at once but they went on to score 271/7 and gave India a huge target on this pitch.
Once again Mehdy Hassan Miraz was the star for Bangladesh as after coming to bat at number 8 he went on to score a century in just 83 balls with 8 fours and 4 sixes. He got the help of Mahmudullah who scored 77 runs and helped Bangladesh to get stable when they were losing wickets.
