The Indian team won the ODI series against New Zealand as they whitewashed the New Zealand team by 3-0. It was their second consecutive series win in the ODI format as they also beat Srilanka by 3-0 in the ODI series and they are looking in very good form.  

Everyone is thinking that the Indian team is having a high chance of winning the ODI World cup which will be hosted by the Indian team as well by looking at their current form. The Indian team also moved to rank 1 in the ICC ODI ranking as they now have 114 points.

Rohit Sharma was furious with Umran Malik:

Indian batsman gave the New Zealand team a very huge total to chase and the New Zealand batters started slowly and the opener Devon Conway gave a good start and scored a brilliant hundred and he was playing shots easily against the bowlers.

The Indian team was missing the services of Mohammad Shami and Siraj as both of them were rested. Umran Malik who got a chance today didn’t impress with his performance as he has away many runs today. Rohit Sharma also went furious with him as he was seen scolding him during the 10th over of the match and looking angry.

After a great start from Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma India posted a huge total of 385 for 9 wickets and it was a very huge total for the team. New Zealand wasn’t able to chase this down and they got bundled out for just 295 runs resulting in a win for the Indian team by 90 runs. Protection Status
