Ronaldo has more than 639 million followers on Instagram, which is the largest part of his 100 crore followers on the social media platform. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid player has 170.5 million followers on Facebook and 113 million followers on Instagram. He also has some followers on Chinese platforms Weibo and Kuaishou.

The Portuguese football icon shared a note on social media and informed that he has crossed the one billion mark on the Internet. He wrote, ‘We have made history. 1 billion followers! Now we stand together at the one billion mark. You have been with me every step of the way, through all the ups and downs. The best is yet to come and we will keep winning, winning, and making history together.’ Earlier, this star footballer of Portugal, who was not shortlisted for the Ballon d’Or, scored a record 900th career goal in the match against Croatia. The 39-year-old footballer celebrated achieving the milestone as if he had scored the first goal of his career. This was his 131st goal in Portugal’s jersey.
