While a team of Team India has reached Australia for the T20 World Cup, another team is playing ODI series against South Africa in India itself. Rahul Tripathi has been included once again in the squad for this series but he has not got a chance in the playing XI so far.
Let us tell you that the first match of this series has been played, in which South Africa has won the match and has taken a 1-0 lead in the series. At the same time, the second match is being played today i.e. on Sunday 9 October. Let us know what is the reason for not giving Rahul Tripathi a chance in both these series.
Rahul Tripathi is not getting a chance
Rahul Tripathi has been included in the squad of Team India many times but despite this he has not been able to make his debut for the national team. He has also been included in the 3-match ODI series against South Africa but so far he has not been given a chance in two matches, the only reason being Ishan Kishan.

Ishan Kishan was included in the playing XI in the first ODI against South Africa. However, he did not do anything special in that match and returned to the pavilion after only 20 runs. Team captain Shikhar Dhawan and coach VVS Laxman did not want to show him the way out of the team on the basis of the same performance of Ishan Kishan, so he gave one more chance and included in the playing XI of the second ODI.
