A right-handed batsman who played domestic cricket for Karnataka, Manish Pandey had attracted a lot of attention with his batting in the early days of his career. Seeing the brilliant batting of Manish Pandey, got a chance to debut for Team India. He started his international career in a very spectacular manner. He scored 71 runs in 86 balls against Zimbabwe in the year 2015.
After this, the very next year, he scored 104 runs in 81 balls in Sydney and ensured the victory of the team. But after that, he kept on going inside and out of Team India. Pandey has scored 555 runs in 28 ODIs for India. In the same T20 cricket, he has scored 709 runs in 39 matches. Looking at his recent performances, there are very few chances of a comeback.
In the second season of IPL held in 2009, Manish scored a century for RCB and became the first Indian batsman to do so. After a consistently good performance, in the year 2015, he got a chance to play ODI cricket for the first time for the Indian team. Manish Pandey had an important contribution in making Kolkata Knight Riders champions under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir in 2014.
Manish Pandey, who played for SRH, was not able to perform very well. He did not play a single match-winning inning. This dashing batsman did not appear in his rhythm at all. In the last few seasons, he was seen battling for runs. Seeing his poor performance, SRH did not retain him.
