Apart from winning the title, the 28-year-old has been enjoying his IPL season with the bat. This season he has done exceptionally well with bat and ball. Talking about Hardik Pandya’s performance in IPL 2022, instead of playing the role of finisher this season, he was seen batting at number four. This season the GT captain scored 487 runs at an average of 44.27 and was the second-highest run-scorer among Indian players in the tournament. At the same time, he also took eight wickets in bowling.
Hardik and Krunal were part of different teams this season
After being released by Mumbai Indians together after IPL 2021, Hardik and Krunal were seen playing for different teams this season. Before the auction, Hardik Pandya was made its captain by Gujarat Titans. At the same time, Krunal Pandya was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 8.25 crore.
