3 big reasons why India lost the semifinal and got knocked out of the T20 World Cup

It is another heartbreak for India as they are completely thrashed by England in the semifinal England one-sided won the match against India by 10 wickets and booked their place in the final.

Their bowlers first stopped at a par score which was 168/5 in the 20 overs. Hardik Pandya was the hero from the bat for India as he scored 63 runs but his inning went in vain as Buttler and Hales scored 80 and 86 runs respectively.

Here are the three major reasons for India’s defeat.

  1. Slow start from Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.

Indian openers again floped today and didn’t provide a great start they also played very slowly which cost India the match at the end as they scored a par score.

  1. Exclusion of Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal:

Indian prime leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal didn’t get a single chance in this World Cup. We all know how dangerous he is and if he had got any chance then he could have made a difference.

  1. KL Rahul wasn’t able to score against big teams.

KL Rahul has flopped today and just got out for 5 runs and this has been the story for such a long time that he hasn’t scored against a big team. He, in this T20 World Cup just played well against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh which are weaker teams as compared to others.
