The team India has started the preparation for the ODI World Cup 2023 on the first day of the new year this time this tournament will be organized in India and it will be a golden opportunity for the Indian side to end their long trophy drought in front of the home audience.
Many questions were raised about the players as well as management after the exit from the semifinal of the T20 World cup 2022. Team management measured and analyzed the performance yesterday and made the roadmap for the 2023 World Cup.

A review meeting was held in Mumbai in which the secretary, head coach Rahul Dravid, captain Rohit Sharma, NCA head VVS Laxman, and Board President Roger decided on the future planning and made some big decisions.
They have shortlisted 20 players for the World Cup 2023 and they will be rotated throughout the year. They also decided to reintroduce the Yoyo test for selection whole they will monitor the workload of the players in IPL as well.
