According to PTI BCCI has removed the chief selector Chetan Sharma and his label of the selector from their post after such a humiliating performance in the T20 World Cup 2022.
Now BCCI has also started accepting applications for the post of the new selector and we might soon get an official confirmation regarding these new selectors will be announced soon.

BCCI is now thinking of split captaincy in different formats
According to many reports now BCCI is thinking to implement split Captaincy in different formats and we might soon see the official announcement of BCCI regarding the new captain in the T20 format.
There are rumors that Hardik Pandya will be the new T20 captain and he will be the permanent captain from the Srilankan tour. However, Rohit Sharma will lead the side in the other 2 formats which are test and ODI.
