‘Your 50 or 100 centuries are nice but…’ Gautam Gambhir again targets Virat Kohli

Gautam Gambhir again targets Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli made a remarkable comeback in his career in the Asia Cup last year as he was not able to perform regularly. He scored a hundred in the last match of the Asia Cup.

He has regained his form since then and played brilliant innings. He performed for India in the past few matches and played match-winning knocks. He has scored 2 more hundred since that and is looking great touch.

Gautam Gambhir is not convinced:

Former Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir is not convinced and happy with Virat Kohli and he has given this shocking statement that having 50 or a hundred is good but one should focus on team performance than one person’s brilliance.

He said “We should not forget that India had lost its last ODI series against Bangladesh. We have forgotten about it. Yes, individual brilliance is important, individual hundreds are important, it looks very nice when it comes to your record that you got your 50 hundred or 100 hundred.”

He further said “you should never forget what has happened in Bangladesh. Because that is got to be a huge learning. India’s full strength losing to Bangladesh in Bangladesh, I think we should grow from there rather than focusing only on this series.
