Srilanka has levelled the series by 1-1 after winning the second T20 match by 15 runs in a high-scoring match in which both teams have the chance to win the match till the last moment of the game. Srilanka has made the comeback in this series.

Srilanka scored 206 runs in their given quota of 20 overs as their openers gave them a good start while their captain Shanaka finished the inning well. The Indian team was able to reach the mark of 190 runs in their 20 overs. Indian batters tried their best to win but they were not able to cross the line.

Dasun Shanaka was the star of the Srilankan team as he finished the Lankan inning and he scored 56 runs in 22 balls in which he smashed 6 sixes. He also came to bowl the last over of the match when the team needed 21 runs and he only spent 4 runs in that over and won the match by 16 runs.
