He said, “I had conceded 21 runs in the very first over of my career and I thought this would be the last over of my career. But I am fortunate to have played under Mahi bhai.”
Hardik Pandya further said that how Mahendra Singh Dhoni had told Hardik Pandya in the third match of his career that he would play the World Cup for India and Dhoni Bhai helped him in making his dream come true.
Hardik Pandya said that “Dhoni Bhai had told me in his third match itself that I would play the World Cup for India. I had not even batted in the three matches I played till now but Dhoni bhai assured me that I have proved myself. It was like a dream come true for me.”
