The Indian team went on to the tour of New Zealand where they played 3 matches ODI and T20 series which were fully affected by rain as we just had one complete match in both of the series.

Indian management had sent a young team for this tour as they were giving chances to the new players to check their potential so that they can groom them for the upcoming time to build a proper team.

India is blessed to have 2 one of the best all-rounders of all time in the form of Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja. Both these players bring different aspects which help the side a lot to build a proper balance squad.

However, Washington Sundar has shown his potential in this series with his amazing performance as he scored a brilliant fifty in the last ODI when the team was struggling while he finished the inning with a high strike rate in the first ODI.
