Great fast bowler Chaminda Vaas, who was a member of Sri Lanka’s 1996 World Cup winning team, said during the India vs Bangladesh match that Jasprit Bumrah should not play all three formats of cricket to stay fit. He said, “The bowling action of a player like Bumrah is different and we should keep a bowler with such talent carefully. Such bowlers cannot play in all formats. We should ensure their participation by looking at the appropriate format and accordingly.”

Taking the matter further, Chaminda Vaas praised Virat Kohli and said, “We all know that Virat is a special player and the way he has been batting for the last decade is extraordinary.
