In the World Cup 2023, the match was played between India and Afghanistan on October 11 at the Ferozshah Kotla ground in Delhi. India won this match by a huge margin of 8 wickets. India’s victory was certain but an incident that happened during the match attracted the attention of the international media. At the centre of this were Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli and Afghanistan’s fast bowler Naveen Ul Haq. The fight between these two players months ago ended in this match. Naveen has now given a big statement on that incident.
Naveen Ul Haq again gave a big statement on his fight with Virat:
Talking about his friendship with Virat Kohli during the India-Afghanistan match, Naveen Ul Haq said, ‘Virat said let’s end it, I also said yes let’s end it, he said that now the audience will not take my name. Now they will only take your name. We had a good time.’ After this step of Virat Kohli, the fight between him and Naveen ended but Virat took the initiative to end it, which shows that apart from being a great cricketer, he is also a great human being. Even after the match, Virat and Naveen were seen talking.
Naveen Ul Haq said, “Virat Kohli told me let’s finish this, I said let’s do it. He later said ‘you won’t hear my name from the crowd, they’ll only chant your name now’. We had a great time”. pic.twitter.com/eGZAT2HGna

Virat Kohli showed a big heart:
During the India-Afghanistan match, when Virat Kohli was bowling to Naveen Ul Haq, thousands of spectators present in the stadium were trolling Naveen by raising slogans in Kohli’s name. Seeing the trolling, Virat called Naveen and asked to end the dispute, after which both the players shook hands and the matter ended.
When did the fight take place:
In IPL, Virat Kohli plays for RCB and Naveen Ul Haq for LSG. In IPL 2023, there was a match between these two teams on May 1 in which Virat and Naveen had a heated argument and Naveen was abusive with Virat. Gautam Gambhir had entered this fight, after which this matter became very high profile. Well, now this controversy is over and only 24-year-old Naveen Ul Haq has retired from ODI cricket after the World Cup 2023.
