Rohit Sharma blamed the batsmen for the defeat:

Rohit

Hitman said that,”I don’t think it was too many runs. We didn’t bat well. Partnership is important and we failed to do that today. You have grown up playing on these types of wickets, it is important that you apply. After the start, it was important for a batsman to take the game deep.

It did not happen. We have been playing very positively from the nine ODIs since January. We need to understand where we need to improve. It’s a collective failure, we can learn a lot from this series. The credit goes to the Australian players. Both the spinners created pressure and so did their fast bowlers.
