Suryakumar Yadav won hearts with his honesty, apologized for making Sundar RUN-OUT after the match

India and New Zealand are participating in a three-match T20 series. India has now leveled the 3-match T20 series by 1-1 after winning the second match of the series which was played yesterday in Lucknow.

The Indian team won the match by 6 wickets but this match went down to the wire. The match was decided on the second last ball of the match on which Suryakumar Yadav smashed a four on that bowl as it turned out to be a thriller.

Suryakumar Yadav apologized to Sundar :

During the Indian inning, there was a miss communication between Sundar and Suryakumar Yadav which resulted in the run-out Washinhton Sundar. On the 3rd ball of the 14th over Surya ran just after playing the shot but Sundar didn’t. He then sacrificed his wicket.

After the match Suryakumar Yadav gave a statement that “Got to see a different look of SKY today. When I went out to bat, it was crucial to play and adapt according to the situation. The pitch was not easy for batting. It was very important for a batsman to stay on the pitch after Washington was dismissed.”

He further said on that run out that “However, the manner in which Washi was run out was my fault. In the last over, we knew we just needed one good shot to win. After I got beaten, Hardik came up to me and said you are going to score the winning run next ball and that gave me a lot of confidence.”
