Indian fast bowlers impressed a lot in the third T20 match played between India and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Chasing the target of the visiting team, Umran Malik clean bowled New Zealand all-rounder Michael Bracewell on the third ball of the fifth over. The over started with a 148.6 km/h wide yorker by Umran Malik, on which Bracewell failed to bat.
Umran Malik Express Pace
A few balls later, left-handed batsman Michael Bracewell tried to find his rhythm, but missed it completely by playing a 150 km/h delivery from Umran Malik. The ball flew past his stumps on one side and the bails on the other side went past wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan and slip-fielder Suryakumar Yadav and fell away from the 30-yard circle.
The video of this incident has surfaced. Apart from this wicket, Umran also dismissed New Zealand’s top scorer Daryl Mitchell (35). On the other hand, if we talk about the match, apart from Shubman Gill’s century, captain Hardik Pandya was the star of the ball for India, he broke the back of the opposition team by bowling strongly with figures of 4/16 in his four overs.
New Zealand batsmen seemed to be batting on a different wicket. Chasing 235, they were all out for 66 in just 12.1 overs. India won the match by 168 runs to register their biggest win of T20 International career. Team India won the series 2-1.
