The target had been achieved at the loss of three wickets. Jos Buttler had played a brilliant century for Rajasthan Royals. He played brilliant innings of 106 runs in 60 balls with the help of 10 fours and six sixes at a strike rate of 176.67. During RCB’s innings in this match, the performance of Rajasthan’s young player Riyan Parag appeared very poor in fielding.

After Riyan Parag dropped a catch during the last over of the power play of RCB’s innings, the spectators in a packed stadium ruffled him. Rajat Patidar, who was seen in excellent form, played a short ball from Rajasthan bowler Prasidh Krishna on the off-side. This shot of Rajat Patidar was very bad and this ball went straight into the hands of Riyan Parag, fielding on point. Despite this, Riyan Parag made a mistake and dropped this catch.

After the catch was dropped by Riyan Parag, RR’s fielders and bowler Prasidh Krishna had no choice but to remain silent.  But at the Narendra Modi Stadium, a group of packed spectators started shouting.  However, after the catch was dropped, Riyan Parag looked very sad.  But the noise of the audience did the work of sprinkling salt on his wound.

Commentator Harsha Bhogle also took a dig at on-air Riyan Parag, saying that ‘when someone from the crowd caught the catch, he took a dig at Parag by saying that that person should have been a fielder on point’. However, Rajasthan Royals has won this match by 7 wickets and on Sunday 29 May, Rajasthan Royals is going to face Gujarat Titans for the IPL 2022 trophy at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
