A day before the match against Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians shared the photos on their official Instagram account. After which there were speculations that Junior Tendulkar was about to debut, but in that match Fabian Allen got a chance to debut, not Arjun. Arjun, a left-arm fast bowling all-rounder, has claimed his IPL debut with his performance during net practice.
Even before the match against Chennai Super Kings on Thursday (April 21), he shared a video on his YouTube channel during the practice session, in which Arjun Tendulkar blew opener Ishan Kishan’s stump with a rocket yorker.

Kishan, who sold the most expensive (15.25 crores) in this year’s mega auction, had no chance to deal with that yorker. His stumps were blown off even before Kishan’s bat came down.
Commenting on this video, fans have demanded to include Arjun in the playing XI of Mumbai Indians.
Arjun has been a part of the Mumbai team for the last few years. He was part of the team last season as well but did not get a chance to play. In this season’s mega auction, Mumbai bought him for Rs 30 lakh.
