He played a brilliant knock of 113 runs in just 91 balls against Bangladesh in the last match of the three-match ODI series. He smashed 11 fours and 2 sixes in his inning and made a remarkable 290-run partnership with Ishan Kishan for the second wicket.
Virat Kohli is now only behind Sachin Tendulkar.
After scoring a century in the last match, he has passed Ricky Ponting in the list of most international hundreds as Ricky Ponting has 71 hundred to his name. Virat Kohli has now reached the second spot on this list just after Sachin Tendulkar who has 100 centuries to his name.
