Ravindra Jadeja, the all-rounder player of the Indian team, is one of the players to replace Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the captain.
Ravindra Jadeja was bought by Chennai Super Kings during the auction before the mega auction. Ravindra Jadeja has been unable to perform due to the burden of captaincy. Under the captaincy of Ravindra Jadeja, Chennai Super Kings have won only two matches out of 8. During this, Ravindra Jadeja’s performance has also been very poor. After which Mahendra Singh Dhoni had to return to the captaincy, after which some people celebrated Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s return as captaincy. So there some people questioned the strategy of Chennai Super Kings.
Considering that Dhoni at the age of 40 is now at the end of his career. Former India pacer RP Singh feels four-time IPL trophy-winning Chennai Super Kings could have stuck to their decision and given Ravindra Jadeja a chance this season as captain.
RP Singh said that, when Mahendra Singh Dhoni is there, he should have been the captain in a good form. If you give the captaincy to someone else when it is Mahendra Singh Dhoni right now because of which the person will not take so much pressure because he knows that it is Mahendra Singh Dhoni who will guide him.
RP Singh further said that, the decision was good but if you look back, Jadeja should not have been thrown out. You have already chosen him to take over the captaincy during which you can rely on him for the entire season and don’t leave him midway.
