Chennai Super Kings CEO Kashi Viswanathan has confirmed that Rayudu is not retiring.

Viswanathan said, “No he (Rayudu) is not retiring. Maybe he is not happy with his performance and that’s why he did it. It is simply a psychological thing. I think he will be with us.”

Rayudu was bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 6.75 crore in the mega auction held in February. His bat did not last much this season. Rayudu has scored 271 runs in 12 matches at an average of 27.10, including one half-century.
