The first Super-4 match in Asia Cup 2023 was played between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Gaddafi Cricket Stadium in Lahore. Bangladesh were bundled out for 193 runs while batting first. While chasing this target, Pakistan batted brilliantly and defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets. After the victory in this match, captain Babar Azam gave a big reaction by expressing happiness.

Pakistan’s Captain Babar Azam has not been able to show any wonder in batting against Bangladesh. But he captained Bangladesh brilliantly in this match and bowled out Bangladesh before 200 runs. For which the captain has given full credit to the fast bowlers.
Babar Azam, while talking during the post-match presentation, said, “It was very hot, but full credit goes to the fast bowlers. Shaheen and then Haris Rauf bowled well. We planned to choose Faheem because we saw the pitches here, there was grass on it and we liked it too.
Whenever we play here, the crowd supports us and I hope everyone enjoys the match. This win will give us confidence before playing against India, we are always ready for the big match. We will give our 100 percent in the next match.”

In Asia Cup 2023, once again a high-voltage match between India and Pakistan will be seen in Super-4 on 10th September. Before this match, Babar Azam was seen as quite confident.
