Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam is going through a rough patch where he is not performing well for such a long time and he is facing a lot of criticism for the same as many peoples also raising a question about his captaincy as well.
However, he has performed well in Red ball cricket as compared to White balls where he scored a brilliant century in the first test match against New Zealand. He scored 161 runs in that match, despite that Pakistan was not able to win that match as it ended in a draw.
Babar Azam stated the performance:
He talked about the performance and said “Our performance in white-ball cricket has surpassed our achievements in red-ball cricket. We reached the finals in UAE and Australia.
He further said “Although we did not perform as we would have expected in red-ball cricket, three teams finished above Pakistan. Played in Pakistan which provided us with a great opportunity to learn and also entertain our fans.”

He talked about his best match of 2022:
Talking about his best match of 2022 he said ” In T20 cricket, my favorite match was the win against India in the repeat match of the Asia Cup. Because it was an important match for us to make it to the finals. In Test cricket, we chased down 342 for the loss of six wickets on a difficult wicket in the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle.
