Srilankan team has come on the tour of India as they are scheduled to play 3 match T20 series and 3 matches ODI series. The T20 series will start on 3rd January. Indian management has announced a young squad for this series as they have rested a few of their main players.
Hardik Pandya is made the captain as a few big names like KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested as well for the series. Hardik Pandya has some big responsibilities as he will guide a young team but he is having experience with this as he leads the team in past.
Hardik Pandya stated Rishabh Pant’s accident
Hardik Pandya attended a press conference ahead of the first T20 as he gave many statements regarding the game plan for this series. He also stated that the accident of Rishabh’s Pant is going viral in the news, and everyone is talking about that.
He said that the accident was very much unfortunate and he and all the team members are praying for his recovery. He also said they all will miss him a lot but this will be an opportunity for all the wicket-keeper batsmen to prove their worth in the squad in the absence of Rishabh Pant.
Rishabh ’s car got crashed on the highway:
Rishabh Pant’s car crashed with a divider on the road when he was returning to his home in Roorkee from Delhi but his car crashed. His car also got burnt but he was able to escape and then he was admitted to the hospital and now he is out of risk.
