The Board of Control for Cricket in India has sacked the selection committee headed by Chetan Sharma. Let us tell you that in the recent T20 World Cup held in Australia, the Indian team was out with a humiliating defeat at the hands of England in the semi-finals. The BCCI gave its official information on Friday (November 18).

BCCI has sacked the entire selection committee

This selection committee also selected the Indian team for the ODI and T20 series against New Zealand and the ODI and Test series against Bangladesh.

Chetan took over the responsibility of the post of Chief Selector in October 2022 in place of Sunil Joshi. During his tenure, India won several bilateral series, but did not find success in major tournaments.
