The new season of the Lankan Premier League has started and today’s match was played between Galle Gladiators and Kandy Falcons in which Kandy Falcons won the match easily by 5 wickets with 5 overs to go.
Chamika Karunaratne has been seen getting injured while trying to catch a ball in this match and this video is getting viral on the internet now as he broke his teeth while trying to catch the ball, he was even bleeding.

This incident took place during the fourth over of the inning when Carlos Braithwaite was bowling and Navindu Fernando played this ball in the air at the cover region, and Karunaratne went for the catch but he misjudged that catch.
The ball directly hit his teeth and even his 3-4 teeth have been broken. He even got stitches after the match. He shared the image of his teeth and said that he will make a strong comeback as he is now alright but he got a few stitches as well.

Galle Gladiators’ batsmen were not able to perform well and they were only able to score 121/8 in their 20 overs. Kandy Falcon chased down this target in 15 overs as Kamindu Mendis was the star who scored 44 runs while Carlos Braithwaite won the match of the match award.
