Arshdeep Singh’s final over help India win by 6 runs in Bengaluru, See Full Match Details

After capturing the series, the Indian cricket team came to Bangalore to play the 5th match against Australia (IND vs AUS) on the night of 3 December. The young team led by Suryakumar Yadav did not allow the Kangaroos to get ahead of them in the entire series. A similar scene was seen at M Chinnaswamy Stadium also.

Matthew Wade won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first. Thanks to Shreyas Iyer, India scored 160 runs.  In response to which Australia’s innings faltered but in the end when 10 runs were required, Arshdeep Singh gave only 3 runs due to which India won by 6 runs.

India won in the last 15 minutes of thrill

Despite the havoc caused by the Indian spinners, Ben McDermatt continued to score runs from one end.  Batting till the 15th over, he played a brilliant inning of 54 runs in 36 balls.  But he was dismissed by Arshdeep Singh, after which Matthew Short took over the innings and gave Australia a chance to make a comeback in the match.

But after a lull of 2 overs, Mukesh Kumar came and dismissed Matthew Short and Ben Dwarschwiss in 2 balls. From here, the balance of the match seemed completely in favor of India but in the very next over, Avesh Khan hit 3 fours and Australia needed 17 runs in the last 2 overs. After this only 10 runs were left in the last over. Arshdeep Singh left no stone unturned to save it and India won by 6 runs.
