For almost 8 months Rishabh Pant has been out of cricket. On 30 December 2022, he was going from Delhi to Uttarakhand to celebrate New Year with his hometown family. His car had a terrible accident at around 5 am in the morning. He hardly escaped in this accident but his car was fully burnt. He had serious injuries. First, he was treated in Dehradun and then in Mumbai. Last 3-4 months, he has been working on his form and fitness under the guidance of experts at NCA. His return could be in the Test series against England next year.
