Asia Cup 2023 has reached its next stage. After Tuesday’s Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka match, the two teams from Group B going through to the knockout rounds have been revealed. Both the teams faced each other on the ground of Pakistan, in which Dasun Shanaka’s team won. After winning the toss and batting first, Sri Lanka scored 291 runs on the scoreboard at the loss of 8 wickets. In reply, the Afghan team was all out after scoring 289 runs in 37.4 overs and lost the match.

After the Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan match on 5 September, the last two teams going to Super-4 have been revealed. After India and Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have qualified for Super-4. The sixth match of the Asia Cup 2023 was played between the two teams at the Pakistan Gaddafi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. Sri Lanka, batting first, set a target of 292 runs. In reply, Afghanistan could only manage 289 runs and lost the match by two runs.

But now Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have also secured tickets for the knock-out round. On the other hand, if we talk about the points table, Pakistan is on top-1 in Group A, while India is in the second position. On the other hand, Sri Lanka is the number-1 team in Group B. Bangladesh is in second place with two points.
