We are just a few months away from the T20 World Cup and all the teams have started preparing for it. The Indian team will also look to win the trophy this time with a stellar performance after a poor performance in the T20 World Cup last year. In this preparation, the Indian team is preparing by playing T20 series before the World Cup with many teams.

Keeping in mind the performance of the players in these series, the Indian team will be formed for the World Cup to be held in Australia. Many young players are getting a chance in the Indian team after the IPL, so they have to perform well in these series so that they can be a part of the World Cup squad.

Meanwhile, one thing is worth knowing that Dinesh Karthik, who has made a strong comeback, can make a place in the World Cup team or not. Dinesh is playing the role of a good finisher but Rishabh Pant seems likely to get a chance in his place. However, Rishabh has been seen out of form for some time now.

On this matter, former South African fast bowler Dale Steyn gave his views and told that according to him which player among Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik should be part of India’s World Cup team and he also gave the reasoning behind it.

Dale Steyn said that Pant has got 4 chances in the series against South Africa so far but he is always making mistakes. Good players learn from mistakes but they are not doing it. Dinesh Karthik on the other hand is in excellent form and he is telling his class. If you want to win the World Cup, then you should take players who are in form.”
