Akshar Patel was out of World Cup 2023 due to this big reason, not injury, now shocking revelation

Preparations for the World Cup 2023 are going in full swing, which is going to start on October 5. 10 countries of the world have started their preparations to become a part of this league. Yesterday, BCCI Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar also announced the final squad of Team India, in which Axar Patel’s name was not there. It is being said that he was out of the World Cup 2023 squad due to his injury. However, he has been out of the World Cup squad not because of injury but because of this big reason.

Axar Patel was out due to this big reason:

World Cup 2023

Ajit Agarkar had earlier included Akshar Patel in the 15-member squad for the World Cup 2023. Although he was injured during Asia Cup 2023, he was out not because of his injury but for some other reason. In fact, there was not a single off-break bowler in the World Cup squad. After Axar’s injury, Ajit Agarkar replaced the left-arm spinner with off-break bowler R Ashwin for the three-match ODI series played against Australia.

He also took 2 wickets in the first match and 3 wickets in the second match. For this reason, he was included in the squad. However, it is being said that even if Akshar had been fit, he would not have been able to make a place in the Indian team, since there was not a single off-spinner in the team.

How has been Axar Patel’s recent performance:

Talking about Axar Patel, he was disappointed a lot with his bowling in ODIs. He has been playing the role of a part-timer bowler in Team India for some time now, although he has impressed a lot with his batting. If we look at his bowling figures, he has taken only 3 wickets in 5 matches. Talking about batting, he has scored 100 runs in the last 5 ODI matches.
