Hardik Pandya had to prove his captaincy to the players during the live match, video goes viral

Hardik Pandya is leading the side perfectly in the T20 as he is captaining the side in the shortest format of the game since the T20 World Cup 2022. The team India wanted to give young players chance after the T20 World Cup.

The senior players get rested for the T20 series and Hardik is leading a young side and he has given good responses as well under his captaincy. He is yet to lose a series under his captaincy. India is at 1-1 against New Zealand in the T20 series.

Hardik Pandya showed the teammates that he is the captain :

A video of the second match of the T20 series is getting viral on the Internet in which it was seen that Hardik was informing other teammates that he is captaining the side. This incident took place during the 4th over of the New Zealand inning.

Yuzvendra Chahal was bowling in this over and on the 4th bowl of this over Mark Chapman tried to play a sweep shot but that ball hits him and the Indian players appealed. The umpire didn’t give him out but they were willing to take the review without taking the advice of Hardik which Hardik said to them that ” I am the captain of this team.”

India won the match by 6 wickets:

It was a low-scoring thriller at Lucknow where New Zealand only managed to score 99 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs while India also took the match to the last over but they won by 6 wickets on the 2nd last ball of the match as Surya wins it for India by hitting a four.
